Can We Tune Your Vehicle?

It’s the first question on almost every call: “I have this exact machine — can you tune it?” Here’s how to find out in thirty seconds, and why the answer is usually yes.

The short answer

If it has an ECU, the odds are good. We calibrate gas and diesel engines across cars, trucks, farm equipment, and plenty of things in between — running six professional tuning platforms so no single tool’s coverage limits what we can take on.

The fastest way to check your exact machine: the “Can we tune yours?” lookup on our homepage. Pick your make, model, and engine and it checks our coverage data — tens of thousands of vehicles — and tells you how we’d connect to your ECU and whether it’s a locked late-model unit.

What we tune, by name

Plain list, no adjectives:

Every calibration is built from scratch for the machine in front of us — a dynamic tune, not a static off-the-shelf file. It’s the name on the door.

Locked ECUs are usually not a dead end

Late-model trucks and performance cars often ship with locked ECUs — B58 BMWs, L5P Duramax, the Hurricane 3.0, Elantra N, and others. Locked doesn’t mean untunable: many of these can be unlocked professionally before calibration. The lookup flags lock status for your vehicle, and our ECU unlocking guide explains what that process looks like from your side.

Common questions

My vehicle isn’t in the lookup — does that mean you can’t tune it?

No. The lookup covers our mapped coverage data, but plenty of machines we tune aren’t in it — call or text with the year, make, model, and engine and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Can you tune a swapped or carbureted engine?

If it runs on a tunable ECU — like an LS swap on a factory or standalone computer — usually yes. Carbureted engines without an ECU aren’t a tuning fit, but tell us what you’re running and we’ll point you the right way.

Do you tune marine engines or powersports?

We’ve tuned marine and powersports units where platform coverage exists. Ask with the exact engine and we’ll check.

Do I have to bring it to you?

Not necessarily. We’re mobile over a 100+ mile radius of Fort Wayne — we come to your driveway, shop, or farm. Remote flash is available on select platforms. See how mobile tuning works.
